Arbonne is a cosmetics and skincare line from California that takes pride in the quality and type of ingredients, QA, and testing to produce their products. They offer a complete list of each of the ingredient used in their wide array of beauty and skincare items that lists what it does for your skin. As someone who is always weary of unpronounceable additives and serums, I was really happy to see this. The list can be found here
I recruited my friend Maddie, owner of Mad Eyes Jewelry, to test out a few products. You can follow her on Instagram and Facebook, @madeyesjewelry
Maddie is wearing the It's a Long Story mascara in purple, which enhances the deep green color of her eyes. It matches perfectly with her earrings, black liquid liner, and strong brow, to complete the beauty look. I found that two coats were required to really get a nice deep purple that was visible at a glance. One coat still shows up but more-so in the right lighting. I would also recommend applying it to the upper half of the lashes overtop of black mascara if you want a more subtle pop of colour.
Arbonne began as a skincare line and then expanded into cosmetics and nutrition. They sent me a nice sample pack of their skincare line which came with a thorough explanation of how to use each product, what it does, and the ingredients of course. They have a multi-step morning and evening routine which should improve the texture, firmness, and elasticity of our skin in 4 weeks, although you may feel the difference as early as the next day. The morning routine calls for a cleanser, toner, eye cream, and SPF 20 day cream. At night you would use the cleanser, toner, serum, and night repair cream. For days when your skin is super dry there's an extra moisture cream to fix those nasty flakes of skin.
