I have been trying to add more fresh ginger to my diet for it's stomach calming properties and it's rich flavor. This morning I added some fresh ginger to my Yoso along with some other healthy, nutritious ingredients to make a tasty yogurt bowl.
Prep time: 2 minutes
Cook time: 1 minute
1/3 cup Yoso unsweetened vegan coconut yogurt
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp organic honey
1 tsp fresh ginger (leave the piece whole, just scrape the skin off)
Add all the ingredients to a blender and give it a quick blend until smooth. There should be no chunks of ginger or banana floating around.
Serve right away while it's cold! Add seasonal fruit and a sprinkle of turmeric for colour and flavor.
