Watermelon Arnold Palmer

Watermelon Arnold Palmer

If you have no idea what an Arnold Palmer is, I'll save you the Google search and tell you it's lemonade iced tea!

Ingredients
1 cup watermelon chunks
the juice of 4 lemons
4 heaping tbsp raw or cane sugar
1 1/2 cups brewed orange pekoe tea (I used 2 teabags)
1 1/2 cups cold water
several small cubes of watermelon

Method

Freeze the chunks of watermelon to use as a substitute for ice cubes!

Brew the tea and set aside to allow it to come to room temperature. While the tea is brewing, muddle or blend the watermelon, sugar, and lemon juice.

Add the watermelon mixture to a large serving jug and top up with tea, then stir well. Add the cold water last and give it a really good stir.

Refrigerate until nice and cold, about an hour. Stir again before serving.

Makes about 8 servings of juice
