Fig, Pumpkin Seed, and Berry Oatmeal

May 18, 2018 Amanda Orlando
vegan protein oatmeal

Free from peanuts, nuts (excluding coconut), dairy, soy, egg, wheat, fish and shellfish
Vegan and gluten-free

Ingredients
1 serving gluten-free oats, such as Holy Crap oats
several sliced strawberries
a small handful of raspberries
dried figs, sliced in half
2 tbsp. salted and shelled pumpkin seeds, such as Super Seedz
1 tbsp. shelled hemp seeds
1 tbsp. coconut flakes
1/4 cup Yoso vegan coconut mylk yogurt

Prepare the oats the way you like them. I like to douse in boiling water, then cover the bowl with a plate to allow them to steam for a few minutes until cooked. Fluff with a fork and then arrange all your toppings on top. If you prefer your oats to be sweetened try adding some maple syrup or organic honey.

If you liked this recipe, be sure to check out my video about how to make homemade oat flour!
