My recipe for snickerdoodle apple spice loaf is SO simple yet so tasty. It’s filled with warm and cozy cinnamon and applesauce. I like to have a thick slice for breakfast with a cup of coffee or tea, but it’s also wonderful as a snack.

Free from peanuts, nuts, dairy, egg, soy, fish, shellfish

Ingredients
1/3 cups unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp. canola or olive oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder

375F for 30 - 35 minutes

Line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper and set the oven to 375F.

Whisk together the applesauce, water, sugars, cinnamon, salt, and oil in a large mixing bowl. Add all the other ingredients and whisk well. Pour the batter into the lined loaf pan and bake for 30 - 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Makes 1 loaf
